Don Campbell Band:
A Night of Original Music

Don Campbell and the Don Campbell Band are regular features at halls and listening rooms around the country, performing concerts of Don’s original music spanning his many albums, peppered with stories and his own favorite songs.

A musical buffet celebrating Don’s 30+ years of songwriting mastery.

Don’s songs have always served as study frames for the moments they capture and memorialize, “Heart of a Tennessee Town” tells a sweet story of young love in a small town, remembered, and reminisced upon years later. “Red, White, and Blue Heart” is inspired by the story of NFL athlete, Pat Tilman, who became a special forces ranger and lost his life serving in combat. Winning several awards and earning numerous accolades, Don’s catalog of work is filled to the brim with rich, thoughtful, stories like these and many more that will delight and entertain.

Holiday Concerts & Happenings

Don Campbell and the Don Campbell Band celebrate many holiday occasions throughout the calendar year.

Don celebrates his dedication to veterans causes by including a song for veterans on every CD he releases. This is exemplified by his song “Veteran’s Day,” which is an often-requested feature at his Veteran’s Day & Independence Day concerts and appearances.

To celebrate the most wonderful time of the year, Don performs holiday concerts around Christmas, featuring music from his two CD collections of Christmas music favorites.

Countless fans have rung in the New Year with the Don Campbell Band and their now-legendary New Year’s Eve parties, over the years taking part at select venues around Greater Portland.

The Don Campbell Band

The award-winning Don Campbell Band has been a mainstay at concerts, fairs, festivals, cruises, and civic events for over two decades, performing a mix of Don’s original music and covers from the decades and days now and then.

Their dynamic and inspired performances have won them $50,000 at the Grand Ol’ Opry, as well as the attention of fans from their home in New England, to Nashville, to the Third Coast and West.

Don Campbell

Don is available for solo performances of guitar and voice for events of any imaginable kind. He frequently performs solo concerts in small listening rooms, as well as feature appearances at galas, benefits, and civic events performing a mix of original and classic audience-favorite songs. Additionally, Don is a resident performer at several restaurants & bars around his hometown of Scarborough, Maine when not on solo tours up and down the East Coast.

Don Campbell Duo/Trio

Don frequently performs with accompaniment by his many talented bandmates in small combo settings, either duo or trio with bass, fiddle, mandolin, voice, or other instrumentation.

Parties/Cruises

Don Campbell and his band frequently are called to present music for parties, dances, and social gatherings, both on dry land and at sea. From dance halls to back decks, Don is a living jukebox of ideal music for your event.

The band regularly sells out its summer cruise series on the Casco Bay Lines in their hometown of Portland, Maine. and plays to capacity audiences at its summer sunset appearances at Bayley’s Camping Resort on the incomparable Pine Point, Scarborough, Maine. In addition to Don’s perennial role as an ambassador for Portland to the cruise world and industry, the band has also made appearances on the Princess Cruise Lines in the Caribbean.

Galas/Corporate Events

Don Campbell and his band are skilled at presenting a range of spot-on music for corporate functions and large-scale galas, benefits, and launches.

Additionally, Don is regularly called on to emcee events. His current endeavors include ongoing work as a spokesperson for Saco & Biddeford Savings for their broadcast media and public appearances.

Music of Dan Fogelberg

To allow time for other musical projects, the Don Campbell Band will be winding down our concerts “Celebrating the Music of Dan Fogelberg” in 2022. Don’t miss our New England shows coming up

Don Campbell and his band have been touring the country celebrating Dan Fogelberg, one of Don’s personal and musical heroes. After Dan’s untimely passing due to prostate cancer, Don recorded a 2-CD set, “Kites to Fly: Celebrating the Music of Dan Fogelberg,” featuring 23 of Don’s favorite Dan Fogelberg songs. The band is endorsed by the Fogelberg Foundation of Peoria, Dan’s official foundation.
