Our Annual Event is a party like no other, and all for a cause that needs our support.

Don is a steadfast neighbor to all in his various communities and causes. He is a legacy supporter of cancer awareness and Hospice, hosting his largest scale annual events for their benefit.

Approaching its 5th year, the Annual Flotilla to Fight Cancer has become a fixture in Southern Maine’s summer entertainment events. A party like none other, this fundraising event hosted by the Don Campbell Band takes place in the waters of Casco Bay, where dozens upon dozens of boats raft up and gather together for an open-air, open-water concert event to raise funds and awareness for the Maine Cancer Foundation.

The Flotilla in 2024 was the most successful to date. Media sponsors WPOR Radio and WGME Television, Morong Falmouth, Royal River Boat Yard, a host of local and regional businesses, and several hundred generous boaters all came together to not only produce an amazing and memorable concert event on the water, but raised $100,000 to benefit the MCF.

In the nearby waters of Sebago Lake, the Don Campbell Band is the featured entertainment and production partner of the Annual Rockin’ Raft-Up for Camp Sunshine. This past season, Camp Sunshine celebrated 40 years of providing hope, joy, and community through unique experiences for children with life-threatening illnesses in their families.

As a featured stop on their annual holiday tour, the Don Campbell Band performs one of their special signature holiday concerts around Christmas time in the Portland area. This special afternoon concert is family – focused and all donated ticket proceeds go to Hospice Care of Southern Maine.

Additionally, he is a longtime supporter of visiting nurses and healthcare workers, veterans and veterans causes, and charities that support elderly and differently-abled neighbors.
